Frequently asked questions
Which service do I need if my water feels hard?
Water softener installation if you have no system, or repair if you have one that stopped working. Hard water returning on an existing softener is usually a salt bridge or exhausted resin.
Can I combine softening and filtration?
Yes, and many valley homes do. A softener handles hardness; filtration handles chlorine taste and odor. Installed together, sediment and carbon go first to protect the softener resin.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Yes. We repair and maintain all common residential brands, and we will tell you honestly when a repair is not worth it on an older unit.

Which problems do we get called about most?
- "There's white crust on everything." Hardness. Softener installation.
- "My softener stopped working." Usually a salt bridge or exhausted resin. Repair.
- "There's water on the garage floor." Leak at the bypass, fittings, or valve body. Same-day repair.
- "The water smells like chlorine." Carbon filtration, not softening.
- "Our drinking water tastes bad." Reverse osmosis at the kitchen tap.
- "I don't want to deal with salt." Salt-free conditioning, or salt delivery.
- "The water heater is making noise." Scale on the tank bottom — softening stops it getting worse.
Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. Active leaks and no-water situations get same-day or next-day attention, including evenings and weekends. If water is running onto the floor right now, put the unit on bypass first — that valve is on the plumbing behind the tank — then call.
How quickly can non-urgent work be scheduled?
Usually within the same week anywhere in the valley. Installations that need new plumbing or special-order equipment can take a few days longer, and we tell you that up front rather than after you have committed.
Do you charge a trip fee?
Estimates are free. Diagnostic visits on existing equipment may carry a service charge, which we state before scheduling.
Can you service a system installed by another company?
Yes. We work on all common residential brands regardless of who installed them.
Do you offer maintenance plans?
We schedule recurring salt delivery and periodic system checks. Ask when you call and we will match the interval to your actual usage.
